Sober

I am never a drunk
I have always been sober
I am never a punk
Or an indecent disrober

I would rather eat crow
Than go around lying
Just so you’ll know
You won’t catch me crying

As sober as you
Or as sober as I
What can we do
But give it a try

Will not get high
Or even get stoned
You can all try
Why I stay toned

Stay off the drugs
And off of the booze
With all of the hugs
You will never lose

That's the spirit, John. A round of applause is due for you. This is a message young people especially need to hear today. Great write! Love, Carolyn
