So, You Think You Know

So, you want to know what it's like to be me?
You think you can feel what I feel, see what I see?
See the colour of life through my blackened eyes?
Live the broken dream, hear the silent cries?

So, you think you know what to say?
You think for me - you can light the way?

Let me be alone in my mind
Let me sing my song, let me stride my stride
Let me feel life as it is for me
I don't ask of you, so please don't ask of me

So, you want to know who I am?
I am life and death, I am rock and sand
I am everything you think of what you can see in me
But, don't get in my head
Cos' you won't like what you see
