So Soon
My friend, my lover
How so soon you had to leave.
The endless smiles,
The hope we created.
Through the toughest times
We made it last.
Through our future plans
We built the life I wish we had.
Through our imagination,
Our wedding day would be grand.
Faith and love, what we felt from above.
A path set from stone to sand.
Built from the ground up
Making home wherever we go.
Our hearts would melt,
To a love so deep.
Through our hardship challenges
We would prevail.
We couldnt stop, the darkest day in history,
Felt as a fairytale, a mystery, a facade.
You left so us soon,
Like a mirror, to put you back together.
To repair the cracks of history,
My lover, my friend, you're memory never dead.
