So Many Things
When I close my eyes
there’s an image of you,
your cute reserved smile,
your hazel eyes too.
There’s so many things
that I just adore.
The exciting thing is
there’s still more to explore.
I know it’s still early
and my love is brand new
but I live for each moment
that I spend with you.
I can’t get enough
I just keep wanting more.
if you were drug,
I’d be an addict for sure.
I know you’ve been hurt
and you still feel the pain
and you don’t want to suffer
those feelings again
but start looking ahead
to what the future may bring
and know what you wish for
I wish the very same thing.
