First they gave me long A and Long I. Threw in Silent E oh, me, oh, my! Capital P, and little p too. What is a first grader to think and do?

I feel sorry for little kids with long, complicated names - must be the dickens to learn how to spell it (and probably pronounce it!)

When they name a child something marvelous like Serendiptiy Precious Doolittle and they have to write it ten times in first grade, it is torture especially if they sit next to: R.P. Ray.
