So Lost, Light Temporarily Eludes
So Lost, Light Temporarily Eludes
Once a man lost saw nothing but a stone wall
misery and blues ever since his great fall
So lost that the stars failed to shine
so blue he could not walk a straight line
Soon began to share his misery and self hate
blamed his torment on life and dark fate
Dark spirit had grabbed and crushed his soul
eyes blinded he could not ever see a goal
Then one day Love and Mercy came a calling
gifted a blessing to counter his great falling
Light opened those very sad and shut eyes
clouds flew away as suddenly Sun filled sky
As love sent heart into his opening mind
his soul it's way back home soon did find
Beauty and life soon took him on a new path
away from darkness and former hating wrath
Once a man was lost with little hope of healing
Such was before Love gave his heart renewed feeling!

Inspired by Peter's Duggan's poem to a fine lady that needs
cheering. Dedicated to that fine person and I pray this
write brings her some measure of hope and bright cheering....
A silence stilled the beauty of a flower
blues came forth to steal more power
Hope sent in a massive charge to slay
love and mercy gifted when we pray.
I too was once so very, very lost
prayer was sent and darkness defeated by God's amazing grace..
