So Beautiful

so beautiful the night cries
shooting stars,
these are breathless minutes

I bear mere moments
of Ecstasy, for a thousand
hours in torment

forever forgives the bane
of man, but eternity remembers

I embrace each stroke of love
abhor the slight of hate,

life was ever so beautiful
my night cried,
I seep into the sands of time
in a shimmer of satin tears

as I release a star to love
