So Am I

Things are turning out For the better I smile The sudden exclamation point Caught me by surprise Suddenly all the screws and bolts are Connected Why I'm here Why a single breath Goes in and out of me Till this very day Till this very moment And continues on Why I am my own personal design Why the list of my favorite things are My favorite things And keeps me singing in passion Something pushing me toward The mysterious unknown But I'm not afraid To walk into what might be Fire Or Jump into a falling pit Excitement bubbles inside me This spring The sun and flowers Are bursting Are happier And so am I
