Snowman
A snowman
Watches from his globe
Eager to please, you
Longing to belong
Fearful of blending
into your background
Waiting
He watches
You come and go
In your great big world
It’s indulgent detail
He’s molded
Patented smile
Comfortably drowning
In an amnion
Of dated luster
Behind a plastic shell
Longing
With a
shake
shake
shake
A magical wonderland
His painted on eyes
Dazzled,
Happy,
Content
Magic abounds
This little fairy tale
Plastic flakes are neon lights
All around
With a rush of calm
The storm settles
You lost interest
He’s alone again
Watching
Waiting
Longing
