I have an affinity to snowflakes falling,
for I was born in a snow blizzard storm;
and in winter it is my name- snow is calling,
so, I walk forest paths dressed cozy warm.
For I was born in a snow blizzard storm,
I love when fragile snowflakes kiss my cheeks;
so, I walk forest paths dressed cozy warm,
to stand in thought beside still trickling creeks.
I love when fragile snowflakes kiss my cheeks,
my hair snow draped white like the forest trees;
to stand in thought beside still trickling creeks,
I am not bothered by the iced cold breeze.
My hair snow draped white like the forest trees,
I wander seeking a cure for my scarred soul;
to stand in thought beside still trickling creeks,
for even my loved snow will never make me whole.
I wander seeking a cure for my scarred soul,
and in winter it is my name- snow is calling;
for even my loved snow will never make me whole,
I have an affinity to snowflakes falling.
