Snowfall

Falling, swirling, drifting down, softly padding to the ground, gently settling all around, hushing, hushing every sound. Piling, rising, mounding deep, leveling burrows, sloping steep, wrapping nature in her sheath, quieting, stilling life beneath. Gentle whisper, everywhere, breath of heaven, angel's prayer, quietly resting on the trees, bringing nature to her knees.
