Oh I did live for those days. Of course, back then, we had few but, those few were priceless.

In 6th grade, our school was cancelled for three weeks, we went back for one day, and it was cancelled for another week which gave my sister and I time to perfect our snow forts.

Thank you Andrea. Some day you will have so much time you will say "I wish I did not have so much time!" Until then please enjoy yourself!

Love the way you personify the storm as a "she," then have her whirling and twirling like a dancer. You paint a delightful image here, Caren, and in a form I haven't seen very often. Nice work! Hugs, Carolyn

Thank you Carolyn. I said to myself "hey, what about a rictameter, isn't it time you did another one?" and then snowstorm came into my head and I let her dance around whirling and twirling.

I was stuck at work overnight during a freak snow storm a few years back - not fun for me!

Many years ago in Kirksville, Missouri, the snow storm came so fast, we were afraid we would be stuck all night in the gym with 400 children and no pillows, blankets, mommies, or teddy bears! Luckily, we got them home!

This sounds great! Although... I hope I don't have nearly as much snow to shovel this year- last year was ridiculous! ;P

We had a mild year last year. It is not even cold enough here for a coat yet. But I am optimistic.

I love it, inside and outside! But outside is more difficult now, as cold air triggers my asthma, Tom.
