Snow globe memories

In the shaken glass world I swirl your laughter,
Tiny flecks of memory drift in slow motion —
We spin our past like snow, frozen in a breath.

Our voices echo in that fragile dome of wonder,
Each swirl a whisper of childish dreams we built,
A winter sky held in the hollow of our palms.

When the world outside grows rough and brown,
I lift the globe, shake it just once —
And watch us live again, in flakes of soft light.
