Snow Globe

We strip ourselves of all These clothes And lay them swiftly On the armchair. But only they will embrace All night. I still don’t understand your voice, Dashing around the room As if trapped inside a snow globe. Your tears fall like snow, You caress me inside your blizzard And I’m shaken like the snow globe. I lay wounding on your Pile of tears, hoping for tomorrow When our hands will stop searching For one another. The windows are closing up On your last words, Leaving yourself on the Other side of the bed... on the other side of you. Only our clothes embrace For the night. © 2009 Stefania Carmen Misaila
