SNOW FALL

It’s early December, it’s getting cold, White clouds are gathering in sky, pretty soon it is going to snow. It starts snowing silently, the air pressure drops, Spread your hand, catch the falling snow, Take out your tongue, taste the pristine snow, Just run, dance, it is so much fun, it is first snow fall. It snowed all night, the moon was not in sight, Everyone was huddled, inside or outside the house, The morning sun came out, it was a white snowy paradise, Thumped the snow on my way to school, instead of trampling on maple leaves. Some days, it will snow off and on for few days, Neighborhood snowman will appear with carrot nose and warm hat, the roof will be covered with snow, the icicles will be hanging from eaves, Christmas decorations, Reindeers and Santa will appear, pleasing young and old. A few days after the snowfall, the ice spots begin to show up here and there, Sometimes you slip, breaking feet or hands at worst, But the cold pristine air, makes you feel good at heart. How can I complain about the winter? The nights are warm and cozy around crackling fireplace, Its December, pretty soon we will enjoy Christmas Day, parties and feasts, Gifts will be bought, shopping malls will be full, no one will care about the icy roads.

Jay, your poetry is excellent. True, it's getting too chilly, and I'm not enthusiastic about winter.
