Snow Angel

Fallen back in the snow,
You laugh at my uncertainty.
"It's Fun," you laugh.
"At least try it once."
"But, it's too cold," I cry.

"Look, it's easy."
Arms and legs swing back and forth
Through the snow.
"Now," you say,
"Help me up carefully."

I reach down
And, pull you up.
Where you've been Is a form,
A Snow Angel.
"Do you get the idea?" You ask.

"Yes, I do."
I push you down in the snow
And fall on top of you.
Arms and legs move
back and forth through the snow.
Lips pressed hard together.

Snow Angels are fun to make
