Snow

Snuggled and hunkered down in winter clothes

Nestled warm in a winter wonderland

Only parts in sight are their eyes and nose

Wee ones out to play who can barely stand

I remember being bundled in those old snow suits and being barely able to move.

Me, too. And how important wearing every single article was to my Mother. Bending and running just didn't happen! ... CayCay

Oh, Caycay, I had assumed that I'd already seen yours. I've seen others on snow and I enjoy this one a lot too. yes, you used perfect rhyme and syllable count here! Did you ever see the movie "A Christmas Story?" This reminds me of that kid that was all hunkered down in his winter clothes and he would fall down in the snow and couldn't get back up! cute one!

Yes, I pictured my son, but now that you mention it, I do recall that scene! It was hysterical. The whole movie was funny - The Leg Lamp! Thank you for taking the time to read and comment ... CayCay

It can be such a fun time of year for the littlies. And don't they look so fantastic when they are all rugged up.

And have trouble walking! Yes, they are precious, but sometimes we take longer preparing them than they do staying out! I love the mental image of my little boy, bundled up in the snow. Maybe it is so clear because snow is rare in Texas. Good to see you ... CayCay
