Snapshots of You

Once we were inseparable Two runaways against the world You were my shelter from their frost And together we could fight all who would limit us 5 years later and our views shifted My universe collapsed and I built it back stronger Too strong for me to need you by my side Now I see you on the train some days And catch a glimpse of your dark hair Only to keep my mind and mouth shut turning away from us once more But saving the moments a photo album of lost regrets: Snapshots of you
