Snapped

Half a century of wedded bliss kindness and love soulmates by any other name A life to the power of two Bliss that is Till early one morning he found her laying still on the cold floor What could he do She was gone There In front of him Lifeless and unresponsive All he could think to do Was grab his camera Capture forever the last of her loving eyes her tender lips his mind had snapped AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on March 3, 2019

Powerful! I wonder, natural causes or did he snap and murder her? But he loved her....... so many paths to think of. That is what this great poems does. I'm still thinking of it long after I finished reading it. Well done.

In this case it really was wedded bliss... and natural death... I don't think I will ever understand (or forget) the camera thing...
