Snapped
Half a century
of wedded bliss
kindness and love
soulmates
by any other name
A life to the power of two
Bliss that is
Till early one morning
he found her
laying still
on the cold floor
What could he do
She was gone
There
In front of him
Lifeless and unresponsive
All he could think to do
Was grab his camera
Capture forever the last
of her loving eyes
her tender lips
his mind had snapped
