Snap Shot Keeps Vigil

Mom and Dad, holding paper hearts, come to life in this photo taken on their 60th Anniversary. On the second line of this poem love-s-miles can be read two ways. Love smiles for the time my parents were together or Love’s miles since Mom passed away. 

SNAP SHOT KEEPS VIGIL

each holding their hearts
love-s-miles in 3d vision
leaning on cloud nine
hand of mock clock ticks seconds
i n f i n i t e s i m a l  squeeze
