Smiling- It's a Happy Thing

Smiling. A lark in my heart singing. A melody of morning beauty The chirping attracted- What? A contagious laughter. A building mutual trust. A sense of belonging. My heartbeats- rhythm quick yet steady, I danced with no one noticing. Curse words and in-mind echoes, Off they disappeared- Vanished like sunlit mist. Smiling, Lips in a real wide twist, White teeth showing, It's a happy thing. Smiling. The nights, once ruled by bad dreams, but pain doesn't last forever still. Daybreak brings hope, so beautiful, The whole world now seems enthralling Without you a burning devastation; With you a marshmallow factory. I heard chuckles everywhere And convinced myself to worry less. Long gone was any anxiety, Long left the thieves of bliss. No more words can describe it- The gush of simple joy Deep down in the nerves and veins. This is not forever- But now, down this trail. It's a happy thing.
