Smile and Wave

With shrug of shoulders, roll of eyes in head
We accept our failure and resign.
Reluctance and revenge agenda
Hidden behind a cheesy grin smile
Made while stepping back, withdrawing out of range.
Disconnected, disengaged with bitter grimace, unseen
We wave goodbye with a sigh, nigh silent within.

Unlike Charmaine, I don't think your write has anything to do with saying good-bye. I think it's about people who observe polite formalities while privately planning/desiring to hurt you. You did a very good job if I'm right, and I am, aren't I? Sincerity could nip such feelings in the bud, but that's mankind ... CayCay
