Smile
When skies are grey and troubles weigh
Upon your weary mind,
Remember that the sun will rise
And better days you'll find.
The world is filled with wonder, dear,
And joy is all around.
So lift your gaze and see the good
That's waiting to be found.
The laughter of a child at play,
The beauty of a flower,
The warmth of sunshine on your face
In every passing hour.
There's music in the rustling leaves,
And magic in a smile,
So take a breath and let it in
And linger for a while.
For life is short and full of change,
But love will never die.
So hold it close and keep it bright
And let your spirit fly.
And when the clouds have passed you by
And skies are bright and blue,
Remember that you're loved and cherished,
And that I'm always here for you.
