Think of all that you can be The power of technology At your will and fingertips Deftly set to sinking ships Never yet before this day Existed such a potent way For realization of a dream Effectuating every scheme Science now at such a peak New horizons week-to-week Entire systems at command Clicked to life within a hand Any idea thoughts can glean Born to motion on a screen Items only minds could see Now quickly printed in 3D! Call a friend? Tap your wrist Hold some robots in your fist Never has there been a time Finding your success to climb A ladder of your own device Reach up to your paradise ... And if the tech's not up to YOU Just wait ... another day-or-two.

I hate technology past a certain point, Greg. I was so freaking out today not able to understand how to install a simple scanner. It's good for those with the minds for it. But I miss good old paper and pen!! The poem, of course, was awesome.

It can be VERY frustrating, Andrea, I TOTALLY agree ... there are times when I want to throw my computer through the wall, lol! Technology is wonderful while it's working, but the more there is TO something, the more that can go WRONG! Thanks, my friend - I hope you got your printer working ... I have to do the same thing, and I've been putting it off! ;-) <3

Greg, this is such a well-written and thought-provoking piece about a subject I find amazing--and somewhat scary. Janice

Thank you SO much, Janice! I agree - I find technology a bit frightening at times, especially when I contemplate what may come of it, (and US), in the next decade-or-so ... there are some disturbing signs that we may not be ready at all for what's coming. I hope I'm wrong! Blessings, friend! :-) <3
