Slow Life

small
Ever seen a baby bird fall?
Watching something you know you have no choice in being a part of;
like your unknown future child kissing someone elses unknown future child,
that you wish to stop, but you know you can't be a part of.
...ever think that the world would stop spinning,
if you'd just stand still the whole day,
even though truthfully you know better,
you just want to feel if patience is in you;
in me, while your above falling asleep, but wanting to stay awake, in me.
stop
Do you ever get scared?
Not by a random situation or a outcome,
but by a random thought that you forgot was still there;
residing in your past while you try to walk your present,
and it lingers there making you weary of your future.
Like kicking that stone on the sidewalk
that rolled to the body that was laying on the road,
not dead...ye...but you know they don't want to be alive,
and that creeps begin to crawl on you
as you stare at something not so faraway,
maybe if you'd turned him over, you would see your face.
shake
What makes time?
Is it the man with the hands on his; that never seems to stop caressing.
I would kill him if it where possible, possible to kill a man,
possible to be possible in anyway to s l o w d o w n
