Slippery Sloppery

A slippery sloppery slipping snail Slithered slimed and slid on the floor Feeling hurried harried hungry and helpless As starlings screeched spiraled and saw That slippery sloppery slipping snail Who slithered slimed and slid on the floor A fluttering of feathers fell frighteningly fast Meant that slippery sloppery slipping snail Who slithered slimed and slid was no more. © DAW

What a marvelous read from a blessed paged built on lines constructed with the lyrics of the skies and words well supported by dynamic foamy clouds. Message well expressed! No doubt an absolute 7##.

This reminded me of poems written by Shel Silverstein or Dr. Suess, but with a darker tone... I really enjoyed your unique and creative work, David. Very well done!
