Slippery Slope To Our Forever

Slippery Slope to Our Forever 1. Every time I am with you, time always goes slowly. Or perhaps it is I would cling to each memory, afraid of feeling lonely. They say it is human nature to protect oneself—we act tough. I must have lost that stimulant when I flew into your cloud of love. 2. The fault lies in my character; I only want to protect you. Push me down the stairs and I will not fall headfirst. How can I afford to hurt my head? That wouldn't help to quench my thirst. In my mind, fragile memories of you, me, and the leaves glowing with my tears' dew. 3. I will hold on to the slippery slope to our forever. May bruise both knees and my tongue on each lever. Passing in each season, I won't let go—you will have to push me away. Shameless and shameless all the way through in my love for you. Is that all the pay? 4. I said I won't hurt my head even when I fall. Want to know why? My mind is a canvas painted with every laugh, smile, joke, and thought of yours. I can't let go of it to save my life. I don't care if it rhymes, but I will love to hold you in my arms in each lifetime. 5. Seeing you under a white veil and in a white dress, my body would freeze on the altar, awestruck by your beauty. In case that happens, please know in all our lives, loving you will never become just a duty.
