Slip Away With Me

Slip away with me, please, slip away with me, from all those folks who want out time ever endlessly. Say a hundred thousand words meaning nothing great, wasting away our days, slip away with me. Won’t you come alone, love, won’t you come alone, far from this mindless noisy crowd, let’s go sing our own song. ’Cause they’ll just talk into the night until it’s far too late for us to slip away, darling won’t you come along. I can get the car, I’ll just go get the car, take you some place where your eyes block out the brightest star, where the only thing I feel is soft breath on my face, and our warm embrace, I think I’ll get the car. Slip away with me, come slip away with me, there’s only one who loves you here that is plain to see. Nothing in here can compare to a small, quiet place, where you and I can play, so slip away with me.
