Slide Together
I'm not sure what to do with myself.
Feeling oblivious and insecure, I wander with my eyes every corner of the room.
The walls are covered with unknown idols;
Men that use to sing song of hope, but now have been abused to sing for money.
Women that are beautiful in showing of their bodies,
but have yet to learn how to showcase their soul.
The lamp is out of place for this hole is modern;
each piece of glass has it's own color,
making up a design of a hidden fragment of flowers.
I wait covered in undisplayed courage;
sheets have been silent for they know of their use,
they accept their obligation to be part of everyday continuity.
He enters...
My body seems to be melting but my heart is ecstatic;
not scared but confused and happy of it's up coming events.
Our gazes seem to get closer without movement,
he reaches without touching and I stare without looking.
we let ourselves slide into one another and enjoy ourselves together.
