Carolyn Devonshire, it has been said

Was always on time until she was dead

     “She was never late before,”
 
    Confirmed her old editor

As from her tombstone epitaph he read

LOL, very cute one, Carolyn! And thanks for the comment on "Eschew". I agree, different forms call for different types of language whih is why I chose haiku (sorta, lol) for "Eschew" I haven't done any long stuff recently, but did a good bit during my first stint on the Soup. An example is "PI" (Chant Royal) which just placed first in Debbie's contest... it's full of articles, conjunctions, pronouns and other common words, but I did take it easy on the gerunds, lol. Happy day!~N
