Sleepless Nights
It’s time for me to go to sleep,
Weary body needs to rejuvenate,
My bed is inviting me to lie down,
But my face is still with much frown.
Closing my eyes is the best way,
My mind thinks of the other way,
It’s not time for a deep slumber,
Stand up and open your computer.
Many weeks of sleepless nights
Try to overcome it and I must fight
I have work and responsibilities to tend
Please let me sleep, let me have my dream
My sleepless soul tells me something,
“The reason of not sleeping is your addiction”
Reading, playing, and watching television,
Stop it all and you see your night is fulfilling.
