Sleep

Let the night wrap me in silence for I know no other way to speak to those senseless thoughts that slip beneath my cumbrance mind

I practice The Silence, a form of meditation--so I know well the deep beauty of (actually, wide awake) such sleep. Lovely little write. Says a lot.

I am very much familiar with those unwanted thoughts at night. Trust me when you get older you get a lot of those. I try to paint them the next day.

Pablo Neruda has a similar poem "I ask for silence". One's thoughts morph into dreams at night. Stimulating work here! Peace & Love Matthew Ansih

Now that I am older, those "senseless thoughts" don't come around so much anymore but then neither does the sleep. Nicely penned, Pixie:)
