Notes About The Poem

Slave

Slave

No color
No grave
No place
No past
No future
	bonds
	rope
	chains
	Pain
No hope
No Tear
No one to hold near
No redress
No race
No face
Only the end
The final disgrace

A Slave of
	Memories stolen
		.......... the half empty plate
  Rose petals of hate

						Silence your fate

Arthur, each word of each line carries the weight of great emotional and human significance in your dark and powerful poem. Well done!
