April Walter Skyy Poet Blank verse

Skyy

Once upon a blue moon
  Maybe you can tell soon
what I wanted to be
  In the mind of a child
that always said wow
        Wanting to know everything
Silently looking in the sky
  was my favorite pass time
         Wanting to know everything
I would look at the sun
  so long I would whine
          Wanting to see everything
Wanting to know all about 
  the moon, the sky and the star's
Hoping that  one day
            They would tell everything 
Looking into the telescope
  helped me see
and re-discover me
  Now through it all I sit here
and Skyy with two Y's I see
  Skyy the writer in me
Still looking at the moon, the sky, and star's
  and much more has open to me
So hey I am Skyy and I am glad to be me
