Skydancers

Garden of Zen, showers of cherry blossoms dance pink on champagne air.            Taste of sunshine new on the tongue, winter’s bleak falling away, ides of March blow deep breath, morning songs perch on ivory branches, tiny tinkling chatter beckons the daylight, speaking in unison winter is worn and ready to live.              Flamingos on long stems dredge thru giant purple lily pads , silky opal waters reflect red poppies circling ponds, wheel of time, hand of the sundial nnbendable. Clay statues smile, seasons memorized, silver notes on butterfly wings, Children paint layers of rice paper, onion skin thin in theatre colors.            Skydancers begin to form mythical creatures with narrow bones of balsa, soon to collide with sunlight’s magic.  Phantasmagoria awakens the dragons, paisley monster, green scaled lizards contorting, streamers ripple, undulating symmetrical patterns, peacocks strut, shimmering feathers ruffle, tiger engage in battles, horses pursue hawks, pointed winged unicorns dive thru puffy white pillows catch spring thermals.  Ships of imagination sail rough waters, warriors defend comrades riding shadows thru euphoric laughter that marinates afternoons summoned by the goddess of mirth winds blow clouds into fortune cookie shapes, fantasies, daydreamers, waltz silent and free; childlike wonder escaping erupting, opaque particles of sparkling youth, red cheeked cherub faces, squeals of merriment, innocence transcends time, spiritual existence, nature, finding utopia on a string of fortunate sensations
