A misty fog dissipates with Dawn's first light,
yet a glaze of morning dew lingers.
And a splendiferous sun slowly rises,
on this magnificent misty Autumn day.
By chance or happy happenstance,
I perceive an undertone of whispers.
Silks and satins rustle
in the breeze with their telltale flutters.
Perchance, an angel strayed from heaven.
My eyes are transfixed.
Her smile orchestrates our rendezvous,
into a symphony of love.
Her lips unlock mine with keys of desire
oblivious to sin or folly.
Curious tongues indulge in ecstasy,
acquiescing to passion's will.
Aroused, we succumb to naked flesh,
skinny-dipping in the pools of our eyes.
And synchronize our heartbeats with
the opus of our souls.
