Skinny Dip
On the edge of the boat a lovely silhouette
My golden rod in your hand and dripping wet
Sunset background shimmering off copper skin
Was just like fishing, you certainly reeled me in
Half hour ago we were on the yellow beach
Making love together with the ocean in reach
Waves were splashing in colors of blue and green
On the horizon was greatest landscape ever seen
As the pace quickened you muffled little screams
Sweat dripped from my body causing bits of steam
Electric was the feeling right from the first spark
Later, make love again under the stars in the dark
I'll gather some wood as you catch a few fish
Light a few pages and then find a cooking dish
Cook up a delightful meal to build up our strength
We will certainly need it as we make love at length
As the fire goes out and wood turns to charcoal
We won't notice as on the sand we rock and roll
Later we will be covered in beach sand and grit
We will run into the sea, enjoy taking a skinny dip
As you stand there naked each drip of water will glitter
Goosebumps on inked skin as you slowly begin to shiver
I'll pick you up, sounds animate as bodies slap together
Lay you down gently, thankful to God for great weather
As the sun gently rises I'll carry you back to the car
Hoping your parents aren't wondering where you are
As I drive along the road your hair you'll unravel
Soon have you home dear, it's not too far to travel
