Skating In the Clouds

Skating in the Clouds She ice skates, now in the clouds. Her figure eights wow, all the heavenly crowds. She is amazed as the crowd continues to grow. New, to heaven, God pleases them all with additional, sparkling white snow. The new arrival, misses family and friends. But she will see them here........when they complete their earthly ends. She does the axel, with ease, it does her heart, good. The triple lutz wows all her neighbors in heaven hood! She notices something small and dark, approaching her with speed. Madelyn jumps for joy, it is her long lost cocker spaniel, Sparky, her pet who fulfilled her young girl needs. Now, comes her husband, Air Show Jim, as young as the day they met! Madelyn is thrilled to be once again with her husband and her furry pet. This poem is no epic nor does it intend to be. Just me, Pangie, hoping to skate one day in heaven with my cousin Madelyn, most joyfully! In memory of Madelyn McKay Entered Heaven’s Gates 12/7/2021 12/10/2921

Dear Ann, I do hope to join her, in the future. This poem and another about her~were posted at her “celebration of life.” She was able to get a few poems posted here. But chemotherapy and weight loss stopped her! She is being commemorated in Oshkosh Wisconsin at the EAA meeting. A gigantic event. Maggie volunteered at this airplane event when she was well. Oh! She also taught skiing to the handicapped. Quite a woman for a cousin. I never saw her in a lifetime, moaning about a thing. She was just forever fun! And ai think of her everyday! Panagiotaxxx thank you for the compliment.

Ann...I love your concept. She was in pain but did not speak of it. Her game was to encourage others in their struggles. Late response 2/1. So sorry. Pangie

Judy, hi and thank you! I am a simple poet. Hardly here to knock the socks off people. Not me. Nor have poets rolling in the aisles laughing. Sometimes I wonder why I am here ))) a misfit! If there ever was one, Love, Pangie xxx
