Tornado Destruction
the tornado came
at first tame

Wind Whirling
the wind strong
blowing things along

Trees Blowing
the trees bending
branches far sending

Houses Gone
many homes destroyed
leaving a void

Electricity None
no electric power
a shattered tower

Food Spoiled
all gone bad
that is sad

Constance La France September 24, 2018 at 6:46 PM Hi Jessie, thanks for visiting, yes this is my city of Ottawa Canada and this picture is not even the worst of the destruction, to see the flattened homes and homes with roofs ripped off, trees sticking out of them and the mighty maples and other trees hundreds of years old ripped out of the ground is heartbreaking.
