Notes About The Poem

Sixty Years

Sixty years we celebrate

In love with each, since our first date

Xanadu for most, we rate

Throughout our every smile or tear

You and I, with each, stayed near

You and I are truly blessed

Every year we did our best

Addressing outcomes, up or down,

Remembering the smile, not frown

Sixty years! We've earned our crown!

Congratulations on being on the winners' list in my contest. I was excited to see who I had chosen to be on the winners' page myself. Way to go. Sara
