Situations

Situations
poem
Lionel Derbyshire

Power are you mislaid
Uncertainty what do you know?
Future are you still about ..
Destiny are there any prospects?
Around the world I go
With my word's poem ..

There are places everywhere
Where life is bitter sauce
In times without meat
Situations so obscure
Only a hungry camera can capture
Angry situations world-wide.
Everyone needs life, meat or potatoes.
One man in a corner prays quietly for his own.
Some are rich and crowned higher
They have the lookout and luxury of jet sea and sky
Lucky they can pick and choose

And you alone beseeched?
Don't know what to appreciate
Solo you sit and think
Life is a unpleasant gig
You walk around
And see people stumbling
Shifting in skirts and shirts
They wear shirts without knots
Their shoes crooked walk.

A little dog runs down a street
She is looking for puppy snacks
The stray cat is also hunger punished
A drunken man nearly had an accident
Lost his wheel control
And nearly knocked a child playing wild
Presidents are men who don't care
Infamous king's swag
Well fed prime ministers fat and do nothing
Garbage does not pay the worker his wages
Positions, places, shambles and
Situations begging everywhere.
