Situation

This situation
most unpleasant
left me
more than empty handed

Staged love
unrequited and dwindling
Although the thorough attempts
to misguide and bleed me dry
are all too common and harsh
I stand where I was placed

As if you were born of me
I remain glued to you
Your every breath
and every sentence

You disappear
when I ache for you most
You leave me
all alone
when I am most vunerable
but you never give me doubt
or misjudge my attempts
to keep you when you're noticed
by the one you so deperately need

The possession you really want
she stands beside me
my right hand friend
given to me
So I could cry
on a shoulder
that could never become cold
The girl you wish for
Is right next to me and she knows as well

Situations are given
only to those who crave
a distraction
or penance

Staged love
never really kindled
was widdled
and dwindled until it was only seen
by those who are most blind
