Sitting In the Dark
As I'm sitting in the dark,
I'm wondering.
'bout what lies ahead of me,
'bout what I'll be doing 10 years from now.
As I'm sitting in the dark,
I'm laughing.
'bout all the good times with my friends,
'bout all the stupid things that I've done.
As I'm sitting in the dark,
I'm crying.
'bout my best friend leaving me,
'bout all these people dying.
As I'm sitting in the dark,
I'm writing.
'bout all of what I'm thinking,
'bout everything that's going on.
I'm sittin', thinkin' of my life and,
what has become of it and,
what it shall become.
I'm just sitting in the dark.
