Sitting Here Thinking

I am sitting here alone, my partner is in bed I am still up here, while she rests her head I have been off work for two whole weeks I’ve been off with stress, troughs and peaks I feel better now; so back it’s back to work I go I won’t have much time, but at work it goes so slow When working in my office full time it can be tough Sometimes it gets as though enough is enough I was so stressed that I couldn’t go on I came home from work my self esteem gone I needed a well earned rest from everything I do Everyone deserves a rest I think so don’t you?
