So shy I was but I asked you if you would have lunch with me Yes, was the answer with a giggling undertone? I will never forget that day we had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I could not stop looking at you your smile sent me goose bumps From that day forward I walked you to and from school Never a day did I miss I still have your school picture from years ago Our memories will never be forgotten we were, best friends But one day I went to pick you up from school I was devastated My heart stopped pumping for your house was empty When I went to school I had heard you had moved away I still have the Valentine that you left for me The cover: Be My Valentine Inside: You will always be mine

I moved many times when a little girl. It was hard on me as I imagine it was hard on your little friend. I wonder if anyone missed me? I had to make new friends, of course.

I truly hope you reconnect, Bobby. There is something totally magical about closing the loop on unresolved issues. My parents did the same to me shortly after I turned 9. I didn't understand what that big truck was doing in our driveway. Surprise, your life is going to change dramatically!! In those days kids were just a little step up from pets. How things have changed. LOL

I know huh Line times are sure different! I have tried to find her but no luck, I would just like to see how she's doing and give her the Valentine back.

Oh, my. A FAV, no doubt! This, Bobby is one of the best poems I ever read. I am so much like you. I have memorabilia others would have trashed. My first beau wrote a song to me and played it on the piano. I was only 12! But I still know the words and can sing it,,, Panagiota

Bobby, I was just 12. Love? I don't know. He was talented and wrote many songs. He rode a motorcycle. Not popular when I was young. Yes, even had a black leather jacket. In those medieval times, boys did not wear black leather jackets.I am sorry your friend moved. You can find people on the Internet, you know. Not always. Fun, if they are on FB. But I won't be part of that. People really age.. wow. Panagiota so much I have forgotten, OK with me ))
