In Camelot there was a bold knight And for him nothing seemed to go right Fell off his horse with a thud Into some slurry and mud Now his armour no longer shines bright. Written 18 April 2018. For limerick contest Sponsor Robert Haigh.

Bathed in mud and slurry, his armor won't shine bright, no doubt. To make his clothes and body shine bright, how much of soap and detergent he will have to use! Your limericks make me smile, Tom.
