Sinking Sands

Your cries, You crawl
Light feets set to fly high
Solid feels the sands beneath
All we do, play and wish

Wish unveiled with passing skies,
Not as a twinkling tale
Your soles are down
Heavy are steps taken
Ups and downs,
Fore feels straight and deep
All we do, pray and strive

Striving for the wind
More gasps, more joy
Knee-deep in this sands
Praying not to drown
Your struggles sinks fast
All we do, more wind

Wind for air
Life's breath you take
A thousand sand-bites in eyes
Pitch black, I am down
In sinking sands
All we do, live to die
