Sing a New Song
I got a peaceful easy feeling in having the Lord by my side
Helping me along in so dealing with all those sins of pride
As such Joy overflows in absorbing my whole entire heart
In His Word it grows as with each new day is a fresh start
Jesus said not to worry as He told us all about the sparrow
But too many are in a hurry with worldly vision so narrow
It's with the Lord that I talk with underlying loving praise
Helping me along in my walk, there in each of all my days
Laying all my fears at His Feet and walking straight ahead
It's always His Name I repeat seeing His suffering instead
Looking up into His Glorious skies people see many things
They offer up a bunch of why's and all the fear that brings
Loving Mercy too great to comprehend yet with me He talks
As often my heart He mends in going about our little walks
For such do you not long in crushing all that useless fear
Then sing your song to the One who holds you most dear
