Since she's been gone from his life stars in the night have lost their spark The sun has lost it's sheen. Colors of the rainbow now bleed into each other; it's no longer a rainbow. The house he lives in was once a home; it still has a roof, but what good is it on a house so empty? He pricks up his ears day in, day out, anticipating her to knock on the door again. He's been looking out the window watching strange faces pass east and west, wishing he'd spot her. He's wistfully wondering... "How long will I have to wait?," He saw her smiling face in the distant full moon, blinked and didn't see her vanish. He's been missing her ever since. Date written: 07/24/2020
