Simple Writer
I am nothing but a simple writer
Trying to find my place in the world
In the battle of existence
I am my own fighter
I am a lonely and a dying bird
My life is covered with death
Please don’t you take the cover
Don’t undress my darkness and fear
Don’t reveal what I don’t want to unravel
I am nothing but a simple writer
Why are you looking for a famous hand?
I am not the person you should be looking for
I am what you can’t stand
Go search for metaphors, for comparisons and paradoxes
My work does not include all of that
My writings have nothing to do with the poetic forms
My work is empty and flat
So what are you looking for?
Are you looking for the empty me?
I have already sold my soul
To create a bittersweet tragedy
I am nothing but a simple writer
You do not have to read my words
In the battle of poetry
I am the only fighter
I have no weapons or swords
